My Thoughts..and they're a Doozy

Some of my friends have brought up the subject of how a Christian should act towards gays, and I want to lay my thoughts on the line.
I have a few friends that are gay. I love them, but I do not support what they do. God Says in Leviticus 18:22 Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, that is detestable. Look at that..God detests it. And in 1 Corinthians 7 its says repeatedly wife for a husband and a husband for a wife. It never says wife for a wife or husband for a husband. In Galations 5 it says this-The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;  idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Look people..He says you will not inherit the Kingdom of God.Sexual Immorality in definition is anything that is wrong sexually in the eyes of God. Be it adultery, fornication, and homosexuality. In 1 Corinthians 6 the Lord says. Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men,  nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Look there He says it again. They will not inherit the Kingdom of God. God plainly says they will not enter heaven. If something is said more than once don't you think it must be meant? I have heard people say that since everything about homosexuality being wrong was in the Old Testament and not in the New, then that must mean that it's outdated and not wrong now. Well my proof is in the New Testament. My Father would not say it was wrong in one book and then say "Oh nevermind it's ok now." in the next one. If it's wrong in one than it's wrong in the other one. You can't pick and choose what you want to listen to and follow. You either follow the whole Bible or non at all. That's just the way it is.

My Lord is not to be Doubted. He says what He means and means what He says. Scripture sheds light on Scripture. Bible..God Breathed. He wrote the Bible through others.

That Dream I've Got

I'm getting out of this funk I've been living in. I'm going to college. And no one can stop me! I will be going to college to get a degree to become a Child Life Specialist. I will be living in a City that I fit in. Austin has the city slogan as Keep Austin Weird. Well I embrace my weirdness so I will fit right in. LOL
I want to move back up to SC too but I think that will have to wait. At least till I have a semester under my belt.
Till next time.
See Ya

Ingredients
2 (15.5 ounce) cans French cut green beans, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

2 cups of sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
1 tablespoon garlic and herb seasoning blend
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 (6 ounce) can French fried onions

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
2.Mix the green beans with the mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms, Cheddar cheese, garlic, and garlic and herb seasoning blend. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon the bean mixture into the prepared baking dish.
3.Bake in preheated oven until bubbly, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven, and sprinkle the top with French fried onions. Return to oven, and bake until onions are golden brown, about 5 minutes more.

A variation you can do is add bacon to this dish. It's really good.

My Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo Recipe

I have been making this recipe for about 7 years and everyone that has ever ate it, loved it. So I thought I would share how I make it. Now because this is my own recipe the amounts on the ingredients might look weird. Everyone is different so you can use however much you want.

Ingredients

*4 Boneless, skinless chicken Breast (I usually slice them thin)

*3 cups of small, tail-off shrimp

*2 containers of alfredo sauce

*2 cups of sliced mushrooms

*2 cups of broccoli, small to medium pieces (I usually use frozen but you can use fresh)

*1 container of grape tomatoes, sliced

(they are the little baby ones)

*butter or margarine

*garlic powder

*salt

*pepper

*Noodles of your choice

Directions

1. Season the chicken with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then cut the chicken into small pieces. Melt the butter or margarine in a large skillet. After that saute the chicken until almost golden brown. Add the sliced mushrooms and saute them.

2. After the mushooms and chicken are sauted add the shrimp and the broccoli. Let them cook for about 5 minutes, stiring frequently. Add the alfredo sauce and turn the heat down in between low and medium. Let it cook for about 20 minutes or so.

3. While the sauce is cooking, boil water for the noodles. When water has reached a roiling boil add the noodles. Cook the noodles per their instructions.

4. When the sauce is almost done add the sliced tomatoes.

Serving size. About 4 maybe even 6 depending on if they go back for seconds.

Enjoy!
